The Ivy League closes out the year with awards ceremony

Members of the Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County were honored to celebrate the Ivy League participants at the Annual Ivy League Awards program. Joined by Congressman Anthony Brown and the North Atlantic Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Meredith L. Henderson, we welcomed more than 150 guests to Dr. Henry A. Wise High School. Our honorees are participants of the Popcorn Club, ASCEND, Sarah Wise Wooten Young Ladies Academy (SWWYLA) and Parents on Track. We also awarded $35,000 in scholarships to deserving Prince George's County Public School students. We look forward to seeing what the future has in store for these young people.
