Where did you come up with the idea of fusing your already successful Wine

Dine with Candace event with Giving Tuesday and Charities?

I always want to come from a place of contribution. For the month of November, I

wanted to do a fundraiser, and my partners/sponsors were already in

agreement. Coalition Properties also agreed to match the first $5K in contributions. When I brought the ideal to Executive Director Cheryl Petty Garnette, we landed on Giving Tuesday.  The perfect opportunity to raise funds for the Ivy VINE.

Why did you choose Charities to collab with?

Our mission at Coalition Properties is to be the bridge to the community for all things

real estate, lifestyle, and wealth building.  So, our mission is in alignment with Charities

and my personal purpose.  There are so many programs’ Charities facilitates to reach

back and provide support and resources for Prince George's County, and it was a

pleasure to be the bridge to help raise funds to support these programs that address the

immediate needs of the community.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Which typically revolves around fine

dining and wine, hence the event name "Wine Down with Candace"

What is the one thing that inspires you most?

Making sure my purpose and why are bigger than me. 

Candace earned a BA degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. Her

experiences stem from over 15+ years of contract negotiations, project and logistics

management, and real estate consultation for Keller Williams- Coalition Properties

Group.  The skill sets Candace has acquired over the years have been transferable in

the real estate market, which has contributed to the level of service she provides her

clients.  As a professional real estate advisor, she focuses on client satisfaction. Her

business is about service, and she is not happy until her clients are winning! Candace’s

years in the business have provided her with the experience to assist with nearly every

real estate need. Whether it's finding a home, finding the best loan, or helping maximize

the return on investment when selling.
