IVY YOUTH AND FAMILY CENTER

At the beginning of 2012, we began an aggressive Capital Campaign to support the acquisition of a facility where we would hold our community service activities and house our administrative offices. In September 2012 with the generous support of our members, State and local government representatives, the business community, community partners, family and friends, we purchased the property at 6118 Walton Avenue in Suitland, Maryland, for The Ivy Youth and Family Center.
Now, with nearly 6,000 square feet, The Ivy Youth and Family Center houses our administrative offices, meeting spaces and a multipurpose room where we provide a comprehensive and systemic program of services to improve the academic, health, cultural, and socio-economic status of youth and families residing in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The Center is financed and operated by funds received from public and private sources, gifts from individuals and groups, fundraising activities, grants, in-kind services and members of the Iota Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
The Center will also be available to nonprofits and other community organizations for meetings and social events beginning in the fall of 2018. For more information, contact the Center at 301-702-7312 or send an email to rental@iccpgc.org.
